Learn by practice is a method to ‘learn by heart’. As the child is practising these exercises every day, they are learning the basics of mathematics this will prepare them for the exams.
Each exercise is timed practice – that will improve the speed, accuracy and mental maths skills of the child. These skills will place your child on top of the class that will boost his/her confidence.
And also they will try to maintain the privilege as a top of the class by doing more homework results interest in all subject. (Depend on individuals!)

Timed practice is to complete a set of questions within a set time. Here ‘set time’ is the time taken to complete the previous exercise, means competing against themselves to improve their previous performance.
Our unique progression chart will help you to view the performance of your child.

We mentioned the time taken to finish one exercise by an average child in each book. Please repeat the same book till your child reaches that level. (This is for guidance only!)

Learn by Practice books are NOT only for just learning, it is for sharpening the maths skills for achieving this goal your child has to repeat the same book till they reach the time mentioned in each book.

Here is the important of ‘timed practice’. Most of the video games are repetition of same task, but children are never getting bored because of the element – ‘time’. How fast you respond to a situation, gain your score to win or lose in most of the games.
As a parent please sit with your child for the first few exercise and note the time taken for each exercise with a stop watch and marked it on the progression chart. Each time encourage them to do faster than the previous one without mistake. Note that the first few exercises are normally easier than the rest, so every time to beat the previous performance is a difficult task that will make each exercise a new challenge and fun.

Reading, writing and mental maths are the basic skills essential for every ones social and working life. As the children are grow, they are more dependence on technology, and primary education is the only time we can train them on reading and writing skill.

Learn by Practice books are NOT only for just learning, it is for sharpening the maths skills. We mentioned the time taken to finish one exercise by an average child in each book. So select a book suitable for the current level of your child and try one exercise if the time taken is 4 times or more please go to a lower level (for example in workbook 6 the time is 5 minute for exercise 16, if your child is taking more than 20 minute for exercise 1 then go to a lower level).
